1. How does planting a tree for $5 work?
We partner with trusted reforestation projects. Every $5 you donate funds the planting of one native tree in a deforested area.
2. Where are the trees planted?
Trees are planted in regions that need reforestation most, such as areas affected by wildfires, deforestation, or degraded ecosystems.
3. Why are trees planted only in spring and fall?
In most parts of the Eastern Hemisphere, winter temperatures are too cold for young trees to establish their roots. Spring and fall offer mild weather and plenty of moisture, giving trees the best chance to grow strong before facing extreme heat or cold. Planting in these seasons helps them adapt and thrive without the stress of harsh conditions.
4. Can I track where my trees are planted?
Yes! After donating, you’ll receive updates about the project your contribution supports and the region where your trees are planted.
5. Is this a one-time donation or subscription?
It’s completely up to you. You can plant one tree, multiple trees, or set up a monthly contribution—whatever works for you.
6. Why is planting trees important?
Trees absorb CO₂, restore ecosystems, create wildlife habitat, and support local communities. It’s one of the simplest ways to fight climate change.
7. How do I know my $5 is actually planting a tree?
We work only with transparent, verified partners and provide proof of planting and project progress through reports and photos.
